Restaurant chains and large restaurants are a priority for California cities and are important for achieving compliance with AB 1826, both for the chain itself and the city of origin. ROR has developed a proprietary collection program that captures food waste and organic materials currently disposed by restaurants, using the ROR Method from the kitchen to the final product – rich, fertile compost.
Rather than keeping food waste in unsanitary garbage bins and garbage bags while it sits waiting to be collected and hauled away for disposal or recycling, ROR drivers schedule collection using a leak proof, odor-resistant kitchen receptacle that is placed outside when full. ROR drivers then collect the filled receptacles, replace them with clean ones and transport to the ROR Digester. And, that's it. The ROR Digester processes the collected organics and turns it into earth-friendly compost for reuse. The ROR Digester produces a clean and fertile compost because of the nutrient rich food waste stream collected from its customer base.
