Most hotels are required to recycle food waste and other organics in response to AB 1826 based upon total waste generation. ROR can assist any hotel or hotel chain in determining the level of compliance required by the State of California EPA and develop an organics program to meet compliance. ROR will accomplish this by the following steps:

• Conduct a site visit and waste audit of hotel(s)
• Determine amount of organics material generated for determination of compliance
  
• Develop a program that addresses hotel(s) needs
• Implement a storage and collection program from kitchen to table to ROR collection vehicles.
  

Upon setting up a collection system that works, ROR tracks and monitors the progress with monthly recycling calculations, overall recycling rates. In addition, ROR prepares state-ready reports for submission to local and state agencies to certify compliance with AB 1826 and local city legislation.
